Are you someone suffering from temporary disabilities? No matter how long you expect to recover from your lack of mobility, you’re probably going to need some help getting around. There are a lot of different pieces of mobility equipment available for your use, all of which are available in our showroom. At Freedom Mobility, we’ve helped lots of Marylanders get around, and can help you too.
Canes and Walkers
If you still have limited mobility, then a cane or walker may be enough to help you get around. Canes and walkers may not be enough to help you if you can’t move your legs and feet at all, but if you do still have mobility there, a cane or walker may be all of the mobility assistance you need. They come in all shapes and sizes, so you’ll be sure to find one that works for you and fits you uniquely.
A Selection of Wheelchairs
We carry a wide selection of wheelchairs in our Maryland mobility showroom, and we know you’ll be able to find the perfect chair to suit all of your needs. Whether you’re interested in a traditional wheelchair, or want to learn more about one of the motorized models we have in stock, our team of Maryland mobility experts will be able to help. We also carry a selection of power scooters, which are similar to power wheelchairs, in the fact that they’re both battery operated, but power scooters are designed almost like mopeds rather than wheelchairs.
Outfit Your Home
Do you have any steps or ledges around your home? You probably didn’t think about them much before, but now that you’re suffering from mobility issues, you’ll have to take them into account. We’ve helped a lot of Marylanders over the years outfit their homes and prepare them for their new level of mobility, and can outfit your home as well. Whether you just need a single ramp, or need to completely redesign a significant portion of your home, Freedom Mobility is here for you.
A Variety of Bathroom Aids
When someone has a mobility issue, they’re more liable to suffer from a trip or fall. The room where most falls happen? The bathroom. While a fall can occur in any room of the house, most often they occur in the bathroom. Bathrooms can be slippery, and normally have tile floors which can be hard to fall on. This is why we carry a number of mobility aids specifically designed to lessen the risk of a bathroom fall.
