Here are a few we found which we would deem to be great events for seniors: The First Sunday Arts Festival: Annapolis offers an arts festival every first Sunday from the beginning of July through November. Join in at the first block of West and Calvert Streets for live entertainment and the artworks of 100 local and regional artists. Local cafes and restaurants even set up outside cafes for when hunger strikes. Annual Maryland Seafood Festival: This seafood festival is a cheaper alternative to the Rotary Crab Feast, with adult tickets only $15 per person instead of the Crab Feast’s $75. It is from September 9-10 at Sandy Point State Park. Dinner Under the Stars: Every Wednesday night in September, Annapolis blocks off the first block of West street in downtown Annapolis for cafes and restaurants to set up outdoor tables and and a string of lights overhead to create an ambience similar to the that of outdoor cafes in Italy, Spain, and France. Live music and art exhibits are also a part of this magical dining experience.
